HR Manager

General Information:

Ninatrans is an international transport organization with headquarters in Leuven, Belgium and branches in the Netherlands, Germany, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. We strive to make an innovatively socially responsible contribution in the challenging European transport and logistics environment.

We are looking for an HR manager for our transportation organization to occupy with all aspects of HR practices and processes with a strong emphasis on motivation. For us, an HR manager is the point of contact for all employee-related matters. This means that your HR manager duties will involve managing activities such as job design, recruitment and retention, relationships, performance management, training and development, and talent management. The job of HR manager is important to business success. People are our most important asset and you will be the person who ensures we have a happy and productive workplace where everyone works to achieve our established mission and goals. Promoting company values and shaping a positive culture is an essential aspect of a complete job description and specification of an HR Manager.

Function:

As HR Manager, you are responsible for setting and implementing consistent human resources strategy and policies in a broad sense.

You coordinate and organize the different HR dimensions (administration, procedures, organization, structure, development, culture, external environment, performance and motivation) in line with the organizational objectives. You expand the HR activities and get involved in various projects that contribute to the further development of a modern and efficient HR policy.

You supervise external service providers (social secretariat, interim offices, ...) that contribute to the development of the organization and the professionalization of the HR tools that are implemented.

You maintain informal and formal contacts with the syndical partners in order to further maintain the positive social climate.

You facilitate any new acquisitions and harmonize the organizations after integration.

You coach and indirectly manage several colleagues from the different sites with a view to creating a well-functioning team.

You continuously stay up to date on the evolutions within the field of HRM and keep your knowledge and expertise in the field of social and labor legislation up-to-date.

You report directly to the CEO.

Profile:

You have solid experience in a generalist HR role preferably in an operational context.

You have knowledge in both soft and hard HR domains and you have experience in leading (proven leadership) and implementing HR projects.

You have strong communication skills and work constructively with social partners. You have experience in creating a culture of engagement, collaboration and teamwork.

Experience in analyzing labor data, labor market and trends as input to tactical and strategic planning.

You succeed hands-on in translating your vision and policies into concrete work plans and actions.

Experience in transport and/or logistics is an advantage, but not an absolute necessity.

You are fluent in Dutch, French and English.
