Job: Payroll Officer

General information

Responsabilities

As a Payroll Officer, you will ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees—primarily drivers covered under PC 140.03—and serve as their point of contact for all payroll-related questions. Specifically:

  • You will handle the monthly payroll processing for the employees of our Belgian subsidiaries.
  • You calculate and process work hours, driving and rest times, bonuses, expense and lodging allowances, and sector-specific supplements.
  • You manage time tracking and the integration with the payroll service provider.
  • You handle Dimona reporting in collaboration with our payroll service provider.
  • You track hires, terminations, absences, sick leave, and workplace accidents, and communicate this information to our scheduling department in a timely manner.
  • You serve as the primary point of contact for our drivers regarding payroll questions.
  • You keep the HRIS and payroll data up to date and contribute ideas on the further digitization of our payroll processes.
Profile
  • You have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in payroll, preferably in transportation/logistics or at a social secretariat.
  • Knowledge of PC 140.03 and driving and rest times is a strong asset.
  • You work accurately, independently, and discreetly, and feel at home with numbers.
  • You are a good communicator and customer-focused.
  • You are fluent in Dutch; knowledge of French and/or English is a plus.
  • You are familiar with payroll software and are proficient in Excel.
