Ninatrans acquires transport company Sealog S.A. from Spain.

Sealog is a family-run transport company based near Madrid.

The company specializes in international transport for the automotive sector throughout Central Europe. “This acquisition enables us to develop and significantly expand our geographical position in Southern Europe, allowing us to strengthen our position in the market and capture new growth opportunities,” says Ninatrans.

Sealog will of course make use of the expertise and innovations within the Ninatrans group, with the various transport entities also reinforcing each other operationally.

There is also a geographical match. According to Benny Smets, CEO of Ninatrans, this acquisition opens the door to interesting opportunities, such as the expansion of air cargo transport activities to and from the Iberian region. “This acquisition is in line with our ambition to become a major European player in international time-critical transport.”

Sealog has about fifty employees and a fleet of 50 tractors and 70 trailers and has a warehouse of 2000m2 with cross-dock facilities for customers.
