Ninatrans equips 100% of its fleet with Trimble

One of the reasons for Ninatrans’ success in the time-critical transportation market are the choices it has made in terms of innovation and technology. This has especially been the case since current CEO Benny Smets took over the reins of the company in 1993. Recently, he decided to equip the entire fleet (300 trucks) with Trimble telematics solutions: all Ninatrans trucks are equipped with a new on-board computer and a new tablet. “With the various acquisitions we made, we had several telematics systems,” Benny Smets explains. “After an extensive, objective investigation into the best technology, Trimble – which Ninatrans has been using for more than 20 years – still came out on top. You can collect a lot of data, but I often compare data to crude oil. Trimble helps us convert that crude oil into usable fuel.
