Responsabilities As a Payroll Officer, you will ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees—primarily drivers covered under PC 140.03—and serve as their point of contact for all payroll-related questions. Specifically: You will handle the monthly payroll processing for the employees of our Belgian subsidiaries. You calculate and process work hours, driving and rest times, bonuses, expense and lodging allowances, and sector-specific supplements. You manage time tracking and the integration with the payroll service provider. You handle Dimona reporting in collaboration with our payroll service provider. You track hires, terminations, absences, sick leave, and workplace accidents, and communicate this information to our scheduling department in a timely manner. You serve as the primary point of contact for our drivers regarding payroll questions. You keep the HRIS and payroll data up to date and contribute ideas on the further digitization of our payroll processes. Profile You have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in payroll, preferably in transportation/logistics or at a social secretariat. Knowledge of PC 140.03 and driving and rest times is a strong asset. You work accurately, independently, and discreetly, and feel at home with numbers. You are a good communicator and customer-focused. You are fluent in Dutch; knowledge of French and/or English is a plus. You are familiar with payroll software and are proficient in Excel. With this strategic move, Ninatrans strengthens its presence in the United Kingdom, following recent expansions in Germany and Spain. It’s a significant step in our ongoing mission to build a robust European network that delivers speed, reliability, and a personal touch. CFS, located in Cranleigh (Surrey), brings decades of experience in niche sectors such as motorsports, automotive, aerospace, and events. The company operates a fleet of around 30 vehicles and employs 40 dedicated professionals. Ninatrans acquires transport company Sealog S.A. from Spain. Ninatrans acquires transport company Sealog S.A. from Spain. Sealog is a family-run transport company based near Madrid. The company specializes in international transport for the automotive sector throughout Central Europe. “This acquisition enables us to develop and significantly expand our geographical position in Southern Europe, allowing us to strengthen our position in the market and capture new growth opportunities,” says Ninatrans. Sealog will of course make use of the expertise and innovations within the Ninatrans group, with the various transport entities also reinforcing each other operationally. There is also a geographical match. According to Benny Smets, CEO of Ninatrans, this acquisition opens the door to interesting opportunities, such as the expansion of air cargo transport activities to and from the Iberian region. “This acquisition is in line with our ambition to become a major European player in international time-critical transport.” Sealog has about fifty employees and a fleet of 50 tractors and 70 trailers and has a warehouse of 2000m2 with cross-dock facilities for customers.

Ninatrans equips 100% of its fleet with Trimble Ninatrans is a transport company that has always been at the forefront of telematics solutions. The Leuven-based company has just harmonized its fleet management by equipping all its trucks with Trimble equipment. One of the reasons for Ninatrans’ success in the time-critical transportation market are the choices it has made in terms of innovation and technology. This has especially been the case since current CEO Benny Smets took over the reins of the company in 1993. Recently, he decided to equip the entire fleet (300 trucks) with Trimble telematics solutions: all Ninatrans trucks are equipped with a new on-board computer and a new tablet. “With the various acquisitions we made, we had several telematics systems,” Benny Smets explains. “After an extensive, objective investigation into the best technology, Trimble – which Ninatrans has been using for more than 20 years – still came out on top. In addition to basic functions such as navigation, drivers always have the right information available via the tablet about the goods being transported, agreed delivery dates and related documents. All this information must be properly provided to drivers and must be available at all times. able to provide quick and efficient feedback on delivery status, with intelligent data sharing providing additional transparency. The most important thing about the technology is the ease of use it brings to drivers.” Benny Smets also emphasizes the positive impact of Trimble’s solutions on safety: “The software maps performance and analyzes driver behavior. The video intelligence function of the on-board computer also evaluates the data and provides tips for improvement. It also ensures that driving and rest periods are respected. Finally, we see Trimble as a forerunner in data management and in the integration of new technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence. Automatic data collection makes our performance measurable. You can collect a lot of data, but I often compare data to crude oil. Trimble helps us convert that crude oil into usable fuel. For example, we know at any time the location and status of each shipment, the loading, unloading and transit times, and the speed at which deliveries are processed. We also know in real time what the costs and margins are for each shipment, which is crucial in an industry where efficiency and results are all-important.”
